The NZ Transport Agency reminds drivers to plan their journeys this Sunday (20 January) because sections of the Auckland Harbour Bridge and Northern Motorway (State Highway 1) will be closed as part of the course for an international Ironman event.
The NZ Transport Agency says the two lanes on the northbound box girder (clip-on) of the Auckland Harbour Bridge will re-open just after midnight following the successful completion of maintenance work. The Curran Street on-ramp, which feeds north-bound traffic onto the clip-on, and the Stafford Street off-ramp on the North Shore will also be re-opening.
