People can expect significant changes travelling on Auckland’s Northwestern Motorway (State Highway16) from this Monday (16 September) as part of the NZ Transport Agency’s long term development of the Western Ring Route.
The NZ Transport Agency says details of its application and supporting documents to construct the Pūhoi to Warkworth section of the Ara Tūhono - Pūhoi to Wellsford Road of National Significance are now available online.
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers there will be night work on Puhinui Road (State Highway 20B) starting on Tuesday 10 September, which will have an impact on travel to and from Auckland International Airport.
The NZ Transport Agency says work to maintain Northland’s state highway network is continuing at a number of locations across the region. Road users are asked to be aware of speed restrictions and changes to the layout of highways for their own safety and the safety of contractors.
