UPDATE, 4.55PM FRIDAY 3 JUNE: Contractors are hoping to reopen the road to a single lane under traffic light control later tonight, for light vehicles only. Once the road reopens, motorists are asked to be patient, take care and adhere to all traffic management on their journeys through the area.
