Tonight’s planned closures of State Highway 2 at the Haywards Interchange will go ahead, after high winds forced the postponement of planned work last night to lift concrete bridge beams into place for the new interchange.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising the public about night time roadworks taking place on State Highway 1 through Mana Esplanade from 28 August to late September.
High winds forecast for tonight have led to the postponement of tonight’s planned closure of State Highway 2 at the Haywards interchange, where concrete bridge beams were due to be lifted into place for the new interchange.
Three more reinforced concrete bridge beams are due to be placed across State Highway 2 at the Haywards Interchange, Upper Hutt on the night of Monday 22 August.
