People who travel along State Highway 2 (SH2) between Bethlehem and Waihi are being asked to share their thoughts on the route, as the NZ Transport Agency continues to explore ways to boost safety in the area.
Motorists are being urged to take care on the roads and allow extra time when travelling this summer, with a number of maintenance and safety projects underway in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato regions.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 12 December. Please note this Traffic Bulletin is updated every Friday.
The NZ Transport Agency reminds drivers that the planned closure of Auckland’s Southwestern Motorway (State Highway 20) at Onehunga tomorrow night (Saturday, 6 December) will affect travel to and from Auckland International Airport.
