The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 1 May.
Work has started on the Nelson Street Cycle Route linking Upper Queen Street to Quay Street via the disused Nelson Street off-ramp. The proposed cycle route will connect to the north-western and Grafton Gully cycleways, providing easier and safer access to and from the city centre.

The NZ Transport Agency says significant lane restrictions will have a big impact on drivers using the Te Atatu interchange during ANZAC weekend, from 10pm Friday 24 April to 5am Tuesday 28 April.
