Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency will begin work shortly to help make State Highway 2 in the Hawke’s Bay safer by extending a slow vehicle bay at Waikoau Hill, south of Lake Tūtira.
The finishing touches will be made to State Highway 1 between Napier Road and Centennial Drive on the East Taupō Arterial from Sunday 3 April, with Audio Tactile Profiled (ATP) roadmarkings being installed.

UPDATE TO WORKS: Due to COVID-19 related resourcing issues, the resurfacing work on SH26 Allen Street in Morrinsville will not be commencing next week as expected. (See below).
