The NZ Transport Agency advises motorists travelling on State Highway 2 (SH2) between Tauranga and Papamoa to expect delays this week as contractors continue work on the Tauranga Eastern Link Toll Road.
New electronic speed limit signs will slow motorists to 60km/h as they travel on State Highway 1 (SH1) past Tokoroa’s Amisfield School from this week, boosting safety for students as they start the school term.
Motorists are advised to drive with care and allow extra time when travelling around the Bay of Plenty during the school holidays as work on the Tauranga Eastern Link (TEL) and a major road rehabilitation programme continues.
The NZ Transport Agency advise motorists planning travel on State Highway 2 (SH2) Papamoa tonight and tomorrow night that there will be a diversion in place from 7pm both nights. This is to allow for the final construction of the new SH2 Domain Road roundabout.
