Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is reminding motorists that multiple worksites are active on State Highway 30/Te Ngae Road, between Sala Street and Iles Road, in Rotorua next week, as part of the Eastern Corridor project.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead for significant delays on State Highway 2 between Waihī and Tauranga next week, as Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency contractors push to complete as much chipsealing as possible on this key route ahead of the busy Christmas break.
UPDATE Friday 3 December: Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises night works on the western (Waikato) side of State Highway 29 Kaimai Range have been completed and no further partial closures are required. The essential maintenance work to repair sections of the road was completed ahead of schedule thanks to good weather and favourable conditions on site. Waka Kotahi would like to thank drivers for their patience during these works.
