Developing Regional Land Transport Plans

These plans set out a region’s land transport objectives, policies, and measures for 10 or more years.

These investment signals and guidance documents are intent to assist Approved Organisations with the development of their regional land transport plans (RLTPs).

User guides and information to help users with TIO, the system we use use to capture and manage all activities for inclusion in the NLTP.

State Highway Investment Proposal 2024–34

The State Highway Investment Proposal (SHIP) describes the investment Waka Kotahi is seeking for state highways maintenance, operations and renewals.

Draft Investment Prioritisation Method 2024-27

The draft Investment Prioritisation Method (IPM) for 2024-27 has been developed to give effect to the draft GPS 2024 and will replace the IPM 2021-24. Feedback is being sought from Approved Organisations, Waka Kotahi, and KiwiRail whose activities will be prioritised in the 2024-27 NLTP.
