Business Case Policy

Investment policy relating to business cases and the requirement to use the Business Case Approach

Engaging With Māori Policy

The policy outlines expectations for NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi and approved organisations, notably: legislative requirements in relation to Māori engagement in decision making for any activity seeking funding from the National Land Transport Fund; and that this engagement must be guided by Hononga ki te Iwi| our Māori engagement framework or an equivalent engagement framework adopted by the approved organisation (where one exists).

Investing in Place Policy

This policy explains the approach taken by NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi for investing in place.

Scrutiny and Transparency Policy

To ensure NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi acts impartially and with the same fairness and transparency when assessing its own investment proposals as it would give to proposals submitted by approved organisations.
