NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi (NZTA) would like to advise you of the following important maintenance programmes:

Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme – Auckland Port area

This work is part of a nationwide project called the Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme (CVSP), formally known as Weigh Right, which is developing an integrated network of cameras, weigh-in-motion scales and safety centres covering strategic routes across New Zealand.

The programme aims to ensure a level playing field for the industry, encourage compliant vehicle productivity, and improve road safety through targeted enforcement.

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Programme (CVSP)

SH20 Puhinui Road Paving Works

The SH20 southbound lanes between Massey Road and Puhinui Road shows on-going signs of deterioration. This is normal and happens over time on roads with high traffic volumes. The deterioration does not present a risk to road users or people living near the motorway but the works will ensure the road continues to remain safe and reliable and improve the journey experience for road users.

Our team will be reconstructing the road to make sure the road remains safe and reliable for motorists travelling at the recommended speed limit (100km/hr). This work will take place between Sunday 1 and Wednesday 25 September from 9pm to 5am.

This work is weather dependent and may change from advertised dates.
