Between 22 June and 22 July 2022, we asked you if there was anything else we needed to think about before we moved forward with our plans to improve safety and access on SH1 between the industrial and residential sides of Rolleston.
This consultation was the second of two planned community consultation opportunities during the business case phase of the project. The first was undertaken in July/August 2021 on the initial draft plan proposed for SH1 Rolleston.
Feedback has now closed.
In June and July, we held a series of community pop up events and invited people to give feedback online and through our paper feedback forms.
We had many helpful conversations and received lots of useful information.

What’s next?
The project team is analysing the feedback received, working with landowners and key stakeholders and considering whether any last changes need to be made before we close out the business case ready for the next project phase - detailed design. In the next few months, we'll publish a summary of the feedback - what we heard and if any changes were considered, investigated and potentially implemented. We’ll update you once we have a final recommended design.
