Traffic notices provide an overview of temporary work happening on or near the state highway, road layout changes and detours.
SH1 East Taupō Arterial (ETA) southbound on/off ramp closures
Due to issues with the road surface at both the Centennial Drive and Broadlands Road intersections, the southbound on/off ramps need to be repaired.
To minimise disruption one intersection will be closed and repaired at a time.

When
From 6pm Sunday 20 September to 5pm Friday 2 October 2020.
Closures
ETA SH1 southbound off ramp, onto Centennial Drive will be closed.
Centennial Drive southbound ETA on ramp will be closed.
Note: The Centennial Drive northbound on/off ramps will remain open and are unaffected by the closure.
Detours
For the duration of the work, detours will be in place and clearly sign posted. The detour will add approximately 3-4 minutes to a journey.
Broadlands Road intersection, southbound on/off ramp closures
This work is expected to get underway early October 2020 and will be confirmed closer to the time.
When this work gets underway, the ETA SH1 southbound off ramp onto Broadlands Road will be closed. The Broadlands Road southbound on ramp to SH1/ETA will also be closed.
