We are reviewing speed limits on SH23, SH31 and SH39 in the west Waikato. We have finished the engagement phase (it ran from 26 October – 16 November 2020) and thank you to everyone who provided feedback and attended one of the community sessions held in Pirongia, Otorohanga, Kawhia, Whatawhata and Raglan.

We are now analysing the information we have received via email, via the Social Pinpoint page and from the community sessions.

We will then consider the feedback you provided as we finalise our safety improvement plans and make the decision on whether a speed review will go ahead. If it does, we will then officially consult with the public on these speed limits and at that point you can make a formal submission on any proposed changes to the speed limits.
