Traffic disruptions and one-way sections on SH73 Arthur’s Pass

Work on this major project to improve safety is about to kick off with gusto. While we will do our best to keep disruption to a minimum it will be necessary to one-lane sections of SH73.
We will be using temporary traffic signals in these locations to manage traffic flows.
While one-lane traffic management will not be in place all the time in the locations shown, it is likely that more than one location along the project could be one-laned at the same time.
Please be prepared for delays over the next year.
