SH94 Milford Road 2022-23 Summer Works programme
Sensor upgrade and maintenance underway on a weather station at Mount Belle above the Milford Road.
Avalanche and weather monitoring equipment maintenance on Mount Crosscut hut, on the Eastern side of the Homer Tunnel.
Weather station and radio equipment maintenance and upgrade high above the Milford Road on Consolation peak.
Asphalt cutting ahead of the sealing of a new lane (3rd lane) leading to the Homer Tunnel for increased vehicle safety and capacity.
Upgrade and maintenance of traffic cameras and weather equipment beside SH94 in the Hollyford Valley.
The final retaining wall is finished alongside the Hollyford River on SH94, completing the 2020 flood damage repair project.
Pre cast concrete modules being used to build a new underground plant and equipment room at the eastern entrance to the Homer Tunnel.
