As of May 2016, we have migrated all the information and pages of our Highways Information Portal (HIP) into nzta.govt.nz to give it the same look and feel as our external website as part of an Transport Agency-wide consolidation exercise.
The purpose of this technical advice note is to define a consistent mandatory approach for the verification of steel materials on NZ Transport Agency projects. This is an interim measure until a full specification has been developed.
The Transport Agency has developed the Coastal affects assessment guideline in response to the Agency’s focus on long-term climate change impacts, such as sea level rise, increased inundation, and various environmental effects to ensure resilience of the New Zealand highway network.
The assessment of business case materials will help guide conversations between NZ Transport Agency staff and investment partners so the right conversations can be had at the right stage of the process.
