This specification and guidance notes applies to the correction of settlement deformation, including depressions and wheel path rutting and settlement due to surface openings in surfaced roads. This specification will be withdrawn in 2011 as It has been replaced by HM13 Depressions. However, if TNZ C5 is referred to in existing contract documents then you may continue to use it. Alternatively you could use MR09 Pre-surfacing repairs if you plan to include all of the following specifications in a single surfacing contract: C4, C5, C6, C7 and C8.
