Q/2 Hot mix asphalt specification covers the quality assurance requirements for contracts which include surfacings work incorporating hot mix asphalt. Guidance notes to Q/1 and Q/2: Transit New Zealand's quality assurance requirements are to be applied to all contracts which include surfacings work which are let after 1 July 1995 either by NZ Transport Agency or local authorities that control state highways under agreement. Specifications Q/1 and Q/2 should be included in any future contract documents for this work.
