State highway control manual (SM012)

This manual sets out NZ Transport Agency powers and policy with regard to state highways. The manual details procedures for protection, control, asset management and work execution. It references empowering legislation and provides guidance for staff, consultants, territorial local authorities (TLAs), regional councils and other bodies in their dealings with state highways.

To provide better user access, it has also been reformatted by consolidating subject matter. This helps by making information quicker to find and allows for faster updating.
