There are several methods that can be used to record how much of your fuel purchased is eligible for a rebate.
The NZ Transport Agency administers the regional fuel tax scheme for the Auckland region and reports quarterly on the volume of fuel delivered and fuel prices inside and outside the scheme as well as non-compliance and avoidance activities.
