Whether it’s to get you to work or school, for recreation or to experience New Zealand’s scenery, cycling is a fun, affordable and healthy way to travel. Working with our partners, we’re committed to helping you get around by bike by investing in building connected cycling networks, as part of a wider transport system, so that getting about by bike can be an easy, safer, everyday choice for more Kiwis.

NZ's Favourite Places to Ride

The NZ Transport Agency’s Favourite Places to Ride competition is returning this April. This is your opportunity to share and nominate your favourite rides and to help others to discover world-class routes that might be in their own back yards. Learn more.

Aotearoa Bike Challenge
