Corridor management consists of the activities required to ensure that nothing in the corridors detracts from the availability of the corridor or the services provided to the customers using it; such activities include management of access, use of the roadside, removal of derelict vehicles, development, management and implementation of bylaws,  and activities permitted in the corridor (e.g. utility installation and maintenance and adjacent development). They exclude activity management and traffic management.
