Each year, NZTA publishes a report on the Rail Network Investment Programme (RNIP), as required by the Land Transport Management Act. The report explains how NZTA monitors approved rail activities, ensures the programme supports the Act and aligns with government transport policy, and presents its findings to the Minister.
