In July 2025 NZTA informed all Road Controlling Authorities (RCAs) that it is a requirement to apply the New Zealand guide to temporary traffic management (NZGTTM) to all relevant activities funded out of the National Land Transport Fund (NLTF).
NZTA has developed specific guidance documents and resources to help other RCAs plan their transition from CoPTTM to the NZGTTM.
