Management of audio tactile edge line markings

| Category: Road marking , Research & reports | Audiences: Road traffic engineers & consultants, Roading contractors

This report by VicRoads may be useful for surfacing engineers and asset engineers trying to decide 'should I chipseal over my audio tactile profiled (ATP) road markings?' The report concludes a small (7mm) seal which equates to a New Zealand Grade 4 chip (or a small Grade 3 chip) may be applied over ATP road markings while still maintaining reasonable audio and tactile response.
