The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements and maintenance. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed on or before the contingency date.

Northern Motorway (SH1)

  • Northbound lanes between Onewa Road off-ramp and Onewa Road on-ramp 19 – 20 November
  • Northcote Road southbound on-ramp 19 – 20 November

Contingency: 23 November

  • Southbound lanes between Oteha Valley Road off-ramp and Greville Road on-ramp 19 – 20 November
  • Tristram Avenue southbound on-ramp 20 November

Contingency: 11 December

Auckland Harbour Bridge (SH1)

  • Curran Street on-ramp and Auckland Harbour Bridge lanes one and two northbound 19 – 20 November (approx. 7pm – 5.30am)

Southern Motorway (SH1)

  • Ellerslie-Panmure Highway southbound off-ramp 20 November

Contingency: 11 December

Central Motorway Junction (SH1)

  • SH1 to SH16 link northbound 20 November

Contingency: 4 December

Northwestern Motorway (SH16)

  • Te Atatu Road eastbound on-ramp 19 November

State Highway 16 and 18

  • All lanes between Royal Road, Oreil Avenue and Don Buck Road 19 – 20 November

Southwestern Motorway (SH20)

  • Rimu Road northbound on-ramp 19 – 22 November
  • Mahunga Drive southbound off-ramp 19 – 22 November

Contingency: 23 November

Local roads

  • Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road westbound between Miro Road and Coronation Road 19 – 22 November
  • Mahunga Drive/Rimu Road eastbound between Coronation Road and Rimu Road on-ramp 19 – 22 November
