State highway 75 Akaroa to Christchurch opens after fires, debris cleared


NZ Transport Agency contractors have completed clearing trees and debris littering State highway 75 between Hill Top and Barry’s Bay after yesterday’s high winds and fires.

The road opened around 2.40 pm today after being closed last night due to a plantation fire.
