Truck break down at Te Maunga roundabout, expect delays


UPDATE: The truck is now off the road. Waka Kotahi thanks motorists for their patience.

Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency advises a truck and trailer has broken down at Te Maunga roundabout State Highway 2/State Highway 29A, Mt Maunganui.

The truck has blown a tyre and is blocking one of the lanes heading toward Papamoa. Traffic management crew are onsite assisting Police to safely manage traffic through the roundabout.

Motorists are encouraged to avoid the area if possible or to expect delays. People can also visit the Waka Kotahi Journey Planner website(external link) for up to date information on the breakdown, traffic and delays.
