The Lower Waitaki Valley communities of Kurow and Hakataramea are being invited to celebrate the construction of two new bridges on State Highway 82 over the Waitaki River by attending next month’s sod turning.
The NZ Transport Agency advises drivers that the southbound clip-on lanes on the Auckland Harbour Bridge (State Highway 1) and the Shelley Beach Road off-ramp will be closed Sunday night, 17 February for urgent surfacing repair work.
