The NZ Transport Agency says restrictions for heavy vehicles is in place as urgent repairs are being made to the State Highway 6 (SH6) Karangarua suspension Bridge south of Fox Glacier.
The NZ Transport Agency regrets to advise that State Highway 1 from Blenheim to Kaikoura is closed and an update on when the road will reopen is expected tomorrow morning. The road has been closed due flooding, minor slips and rockfalls.
The NZ Transport Agency would like to advise that State Highway 36 between Tauranga and Rotorua is closed near Te Matai Road to Hamurana Junction due to a slip, the road is not expected to reopen until further notice.
