Traffic using the Causeway section of Auckland’s Northwestern Motorway will benefit from extra lanes from this week in what’s a significant milestone towards finishing its upgrade.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists to take extra care on State Highway 35, north of Gisborne, as there are a number of slips on the roads following heavy rain.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that due to a slip, State Highway 35, north of Gisborne will be closed overnight. The slip is in an area known as Goldsmiths Hill, north of Ruatoria.
A crash 15 km west of Hanmer Springs has closed State Highway 7 after midday today. An update will be available at 2 pm on the NZ Transport Agency’s web site or via social media links.
The NZ Transport Agency is advising motorists that State Highway 3, south of Mokau will remain open to one lane under stop/go conditions until long term protection measures can be re-installed on the cliff face.
Motorists travelling between Rotorua and Taupo are advised to use State Highway 30 and State Highway 1 or expect significant delays over the weekend, particularly on Saturday morning 24 September. There are two major work sites located within approximately 17km of Rotorua.
