Road resurfacing work is being carried out in the early hours of this Sunday morning (February 12) on both sides of Kahikatea Drive's railway crossing on State Highway 1, Hamilton. The works are a temporary solution to smooth the unevenness on the approaches to the crossing, which will undergo further works later this year in order to improve the transition between the rail track infrastructure and the road surface.
