Good progress is being made on the SH88 Dunedin to Port Chalmers Safety Improvements project, which includes completing the final leg of the shared path from St Leonards to Port Chalmers, says Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency Senior Project Manager Jason Forbes.
Motueka and Tasman Bay drivers who use the Motueka River Bridge, SH60, between Motueka and Riwaka, after 9 pm at night will face a detour route from this Sunday night, 21 June (please note, this date is a week later than originally notified, due to the weather forecasts. Waka Kotahi NZ Transport Agency is advising that wait times to book practical driving tests are longer than usual as testing officers work to clear the backlog from tests unable to be carried out during the seven-week period of COVID-19 Alert Levels 3 and 4.
