Drivers are being urged to take care on SH12 through the Waipoua Forest in Northland, with a section of the highway temporarily reduced to a single lane due to an underslip 3km south of the visitors’ centre.
The NZ Transport Agency says significant lane closures will have a big impact on drivers using a section of Auckland’s Northwestern Motorway (State Highway 16) and the Te Atatu interchange during the weekend of 7 to 10 November.
The NZ Transport Agency advises of the following closures for motorway improvements. Closures start at 9pm and finish at 5am, unless otherwise stated. Work delayed by bad weather will be completed at the next available date, prior to Friday, 31 October. Please note this Traffic Bulletin is updated every Friday.
Traffic will be heavy on highways heading back into Auckland tomorrow (27 October – Labour Day) and the NZ Transport Agency advises drivers to plan their journeys home after the weekend break to avoid delays.
