The first two ramp signals on the Northwestern Motorway will be switched on soon, marking the first step west in the roll out of NZ Transport Agency's comprehensive traffic management system for Auckland.
As part of progress on the SH20 Manukau Harbour Crossing project, the NZ Transport Agency will be lifting eight beams into place across one span of the Rimu Road overbridge overnight on Wednesday 17 September.
The NZ Transport Agency will close the north and southbound Onewa Road on-ramps to the Northern Motorway (SH1) at 10pm this Friday 12 September to put the finishing touches on a new on-ramp bridge for southbound traffic. The ramps will reopen at 5am on Monday 15 September.
A study into options for improving pedestrian and cycle access across the Waitemata Harbour has been completed and regional partners - the NZ Transport Agency, Auckland Regional Council, Auckland City Council, North Shore City Council and the Auckland Regional Transport Authority - are considering six shortlisted options.
