Two lanes will continue to be open during peak hours on State Highway 1 between Mackays Crossing and Raumati for the remainder for the upgrade works.
Following a New Zealand Geographic Board decision to assign the name ‘Remutaka Pass’ to a previously unnamed pass, the NZ Transport Agency has placed a new sign at the car park at the top of the pass at on State Highway 2 between Upper Hutt and Featherston. The pass separates the Rimutaka Range from the Tararua Range.

The NZ Transport Agency is starting road works on State Highway 6, Gladstone Road, Richmond, between Oxford Street and McGlashen Avenue. The works are required to resurface the road, and will include upgrading a water main.
